After losing her 22 year old daughter, Teal, in 2012, Suzanne’s work has evolved to help busy people everywhere learn more about self-care, and living a life grounded in happiness.

Suzanne hosts the podcast Self-Care for Extremely Busy Womenwhich is in the top 1% of all podcasts and the top 150 of Mental Health podcasts in the U.S.. It was inspired by her book,The Extremely Busy Woman’s Guide to Self-Care(Sourcebooks)
Suzanne leads online and live workshops for busy professionals about self-care and building healthy self-care habits. Her participants tend to work in high stress industries like tech, health care and real estate.
Suzanne is host of the Self-Care Group for Extremely Busy Women on Facebook, a thriving group of 55,000 women committed to self-care
A writer and author for more than 40 years, Suzanne has a catalog of powerful fiction and self-help titles including How Much Joy Can You Stand? and The Joy of Letting Go
Over the last fifteen years, Suzanne’s work has been featured in More, O Magazine, The New York Times, Coast to Coast AM, Tiny Buddha, Elephant Journal, Woman’s Day, The Wall Street Journal, SELF, The Christian Science Monitor, as well as more than 100 TV and radio programs. Suzanne lives in Oakland, California with her wife.
